CLIF Shot Bloks are chewable 33-calorie cubes that make it easy to customize and track caloric and electrolyte intake during long outings and races.

Made from fast burning carbohydrates, these cubes energize quickly during prolonged activity. Their compact size and portable packaging make them easy to slip into a pocket.
CLIF Shot Bloks are semisolid, easy-to-chew sources of carbohydrates--your body's preferred source of fuel during activity. Each three-cube serving of CLIF Shot Bloks Strawberry also contains 70 milligrams of sodium and 20 milligrams of potassium.

These electrolytes support proper muscle function, so you will not get sidelined by a mid-race muscle cramp. Because both CLIF Shot Bloks and CLIF Shot Energy Gel (sold separately) provide carbohydrates and electrolytes for working muscles, you can use them together during training or performance.

Three Bloks contain 100 calories, the same as one CLIF Shot Gel packet. For best results, consume half a packet of CLIF Shot Bloks 15 minutes prior to activity to increase blood sugar levels. Follow up with an additional one to two packets during each hour of activity. Follow each CLIF Shot Blok with a mouthful of water.

Directions
SHOT® BLOKS™ chews can be eaten 15-30 minutes prior to activity to increase blood sugar levels, and then every 20-30 minutes during activity to maintain energy levels. Keep in mind that SHOT® BLOKS™ chews will affect your blood sugar levels more slowly than gel since they are semi-solid.
